Connexions at Skills Northwest 2009

Touchpro Media are delighted to have supplied Connexions Bolton with branded touch screen solutions for the 2009 Skills North West Exhibition at the Bolton Arena in Lancashire.

Thousands of 13-15 year olds eager to source ideas for their career path attended the exhibition with their teachers and tutors. Connexions offered them use of the touch screen pods to trawl live databases from three leading Connexions agencies; Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside looking at what vacancies were available.

As well as being able use tools to narrow down positions that which have been of interest to them, users were able to send video emails to friends which in turn promoted the three main Connexions websites and the event itself.

Usage
Almost five thousand hits were made to the websites over the three days of the exhibition.

Duration
The shelf life of the application was just 3 days.
